I’m Danielle, owner of Studio Eighteen Virtual Assistance.  I have a degree in Interior Design, which I put into practice at a corporate architectural firm for six years.  During my years in the corporate world, I was able to refine my project management skills.  I later used those skills in the non-profit arena, where I was challenged with establishing systems, departments and training new staff.  While I love project management and administration, I still enjoy being creative.  I also own an Etsy shop called The Little Things where I sell cards and prints.

I have over 5 years of experience working virtually and independently. I find myself naturally taking ownership of projects I’m involved in and am constantly creating systems to improve efficiency in both personally and professionally. I desire to use the gifts God has given me to serve others and play a part in the purpose He is working out in everything and everyone.

Over the years, I’ve learned that we all have different gifts and those gifts are best used if we all work together.  I decided to name my business Studio Eighteen in reference to Exodus chapter 18. Moses is busy serving as a judge and teaching the Israelites God’s law and instructions.  His father-in-law comes to him and tells him “This is too much for you. You can’t do this alone.”  He suggests a system that divides the work.  This frees up Moses to carry out whatever God commands him to do.  At the same time, it gives the people an opportunity to flourish in each of their roles.  A wonderful picture of different gifts all working together for God’s glory.
